Can I have him arrested?

Okay, there's this guy who I used to kind of date back in high school, but we've lost touch over the years (we're in university now). He was very resentful because I was the one who ended up cutting off all contact with him. I always felt kind of guilty for doing it so harshly so I felt the need to make amends. He turned into this really computer-oriented person over the years. Recently, I spoke with him on MSN and he told me that he still has some of the old photos I sent him (nothing explicit) and he threatened to put them up on 4chan. Is there any way I can stop this from happening? He told me he has all his files backed up in online storage too. Is there any way I can get the police involved in this?
