My shiba inu pees a lot. she pees when i'm about to walk her, if she's excited, or if she scared. whats wrong?

I got my shiba inu in may. she was nervous at first, but then became more comfortable in her new habitat. She pees evertime i'm about to put her leash. I got her from a shelter, and i think she was abused by her formal owner. She is scared of lots of things such as brooms, and my father. She pees whenever she gets excited (if she sees that we're going to walk her), or if she gets scared. She is usualy scared of my father because he's a bit rough when teaching her wrong from right. She's never been scared around me or my sister. Just my father. What do i do? -Layla
