There are many causes to drooling and fevers so you may have to dig to find what it is. The lump may or may not be related to the fever and drooling. Sometimes it's the result of an infection or an abscess or an oral condition your cat may have. Kidney and liver disease can cause drooling also. Upper respiratory infections can cause fever and drooling. If your vet didn't do bloodwork, it may be a good thing to ask him about. Sometimes you can isolate issues that way. Just keep her in a warm comfy spot and keep a good eye her. Make sure she's getting some food and water. You're doing great with the canned food and warm water added to it. Good luck!

Obesity is Killing me, I really need help?

I am 63 yrs old and weight 350 lbs. I have diabetes, high blood pressure. No cartilage in knees and sciatica. My insurance will not pay for for a gastric byp, no a lap band. Doctors tell me to get out and walk, but I cant with my knees the way they are and besides my feet are so numb from the diabetes, I don't always feel what is under them. I am on antidepressants. People tell me to go to Jenny Craig, or one of those place but I cant afford that. I have tried weight watcher, but I do not seem to be able to accomplish anything on my own. I truly need help. I am so happy that my daughter was able to have the byp so that she will not have to suffer like this her whole life. I would give anything to loose 100 lbs before I turn 70. There are so many people out there that make money off of peoples short coming, like having not will power. Help. My baby is a lazy eater.?

She is 9 weeks old. fed, and gaining well. But recently she has been getting bad about "hanging out" at the nipple, sucking without swallowing, and eating only a little and then falling asleep. o she only gets a little milk at a time. This creates problems because she should be going 2 or 3 hours between meals and she is wanting to eat every hour, sometimes even more often. It's becoming stressful. One friend suggested making her basically cry it out and wait AT least 2 hours, but then there are other ppl who disagree with this tactic. I try to kinda pester her or shake her (by lightly rubbing her back) to keep her awake and eating, and even squeezing my to keep her swallowing, but you can't force a baby to eat more than they want to really. We are also pumping and trying to introduce the bottle now because I thought she was getting nipple shy because my letdown was so heavy. Anybody have any suggestions?

I am just curious how many people can afford that stuff. I am single mom on student loans and I am very good with money. I make my student loans and family allowance stretch like nobodies business. But I walk into these stores and I see people in Walmart buying brand new clothes, not from the thrift store, or people buying patio sets from Superstore. I can't wait till I am done university until I can do such things! I have never lived at that level financially, ever! But on the other hand, it confuses me, because with my living expenses and my family allowance, I have $2 600 for 2 kids and myself and I had to save for 3 months to get my daughter a bicycle for spring. Years ago I would have been rich on $2 600, and now it is not much at all. How do these families that live with 5 kids on less do it??? Do they food bank? Do they subsidize? Should I stay with my fiance (advice preferably from Christian couples especially if married)?

I am engaged and I believe in Christ and my fiance says he does too. I have had my faith for many years but for him although he says he believes he admittedly has not really established a foundation per se in God. I am finding it disheartening that we don't regularly pray together. I feel like he will move on in conversation when I talk with him about God or share things with him I have read. Hi, i encoded some important doents around a year ago using 7zip, and I have forgotten the pword. I need a program capable of carrying out a brute-force approach on the file to find the pword, or anything that could guess it. I have heard you can do it on Linux, but I am using Windows, and have no access to Linux. Surely there must be a Windows compatible program if Linux can do it? Is my lip infected? and if so what should I do about it?

I have braces and recently went in to get a rubberband around a tooth so they could pull it over. Well a tiny piece is sticking out, and rubbing against the inside of my bottom lip. So it's been irratated since last friday. No biggie I have delt with a cold sore/irratated kind of lip thing inside my mouth before. Well yesterday I ate mc donalds (chicken mc nuggets and fries) and with in about 30 minutes after eating said food my bottom lip puffed up on that side. It was big red and a tad white, but it didnt hurt. This morning the swelling had gone down, but it was kind of big, white-ish and a little yellow. I just took a nap and now it hurts and is inlarged again. I ate before my nap a turkey sandwhich and some beef jerky. I don't know if that helps but I have no idea what is wrong with my lip. What are Causes/ Factors for gall bladder problems?

I had my gall bladder taken out a year or two ago. I felt as though I had indigestion very, very frequently. I had to stick my finger down my throat, but I vomited some phlegm a couple times. The indigestion like feeling occurred just below where my bottom ribs meet. This was my ailment when saw my doctor, and gall bladder trouble was the diagnosis.

This will be hard to describe but I had a sinus infection around the first of Jan which is now gone. I coughed so much during that I developed a weird cough. It feels like my throat almost totally closes when I cough now and feels & sounds like the air is being forced out really hard. It feels almost like a flap at the bottom of my throat closes (right about the area where the collarbone comes to the throat in front.) when I cough and it seems like the air from a cough is trapped at the throat and is hard to exhale the cough unless I back off on the pressure behind the cough. It happens primarily when I am congested so it may have something to do still with the sinus drain? 18 year old acting out for attention?

Hi there, I'm a high school senior and I know someone in my cl who I'm 120% sure acts out on a regular basis for attention. Basically he says random things that have a shock factor to get people to react to him. It gets on my last nerve and I only see him for one period a day. Whenever he said something stupid like that I always hope nobody says anything but in most cases someone has to say something like "only you would say that steven!" prompting him to say something else shocking related to whatever he got a reaction from. Today when someone finally said "why do you even say those things?" I just said "he's doing it for attention," and of course he just went into denial. The only justification he could come with is "I have the right to say whatever I want." Ive just been kind of curious about this type of behavior from a psychological standpoint; do people who act like that for attention even realize why they do it? and what is the correct term for this type of behavior? Acting out seems too general.

The engine would turn over but wouldn't fire. We had it towed to Toyota where they told us there was too much alcohol in the gas tank. They dropped the tank, drained it, and checked the engine components for damage. There were none. Today, I tried to start her car (it still has a gallon of gasoline in it), but it did the same thing as before. My first thought is that there is, once again, too much alcohol in the gas tank. Relocate children 15-20 miles from father & he has filed objection in court. What's my chances of winning?

I am divorced mother of 2 boys (ages 8 and 4). I have owned a home for 9 years and am wanting to sell and move to the country to raise my kids. I have notified via certified mail my ex husband that I would like to relocate 15-20 miles away in the country from where I currently reside. My oldest son would have to change school districts but would still play in the same sports in the community we currently reside. (thru the parks and rec dept) My ex has filed an objection to my move in court and stated the long distance would hinder his relationship with the boys and the change in school would not be in the kids best interest & has asked for physical custody. Well I am only asking to move less than 30 miles away....I don't see 15-20 miles as being long distance. Additionally, if he was awarded physical custoday my oldest son would have to go to a new school regardless because my ex does not live in the same school district that I currently reside in. I have just completed a lot of work to my house and listed it with a real estate agent this week. I would like to sell my house and buy a new house prior to school starting Aug 19th. My attorney has advised me that I do NOT have an order against me stating I cannot move; however, the court could look bad at me for relocating the kids since my ex has filed an objection. Now if I was moving them out of state I could totally understand, but 20 miles, give me a break!!! I totally believe my ex is doing this just to be mean to me as I had numerous restraining orders against him after I caught him in bed with another girl when I was 3 months pregnant with our second child. My ex has a really bad temper and has done some horrible things to me and always the children. Additionally, I kept a journal of each day he missed his scheduled visitation over the past 9 months and he missed 78 days of scheduled visitation. I honestly don't think the judge would take my kids away but there is always a chance. I have an open concept stairwell so their is an open area that is 18' high. Yeah, darker colours are harder to paint. I went from a bright pink room to very dark grey with only one coat of primer. Needless to say I had to do four coats! But between each coat I let it sit for 24 hours so it took me a week to do. You should put painters tape around the trimmings and the ceiling just so you don't get paint on it. Always start with the edges. It's easier if you have two people, one on edge duty and one on wall. For the edges I used miniature roller (not sure what a shur line is??). To say the least my walls looked terribly blotchy everywhere but after letting the fourth coat dry thoroughly (longer than 24 hours) it wasn't so bad. Good luck.

Seeing as how they really have no warning labels, I'd expect this to be a new epidemic. Everyone drops a light bulb on occion, it just happens. When a fluorescent bulb breaks, you're supposed to immediately vacate the area and call for a Hazmat team to come and thoroughly and extensively clean the premises......but I'd wager that 90% of the people buying the bulbs aren't aware of that. Have a lot of health issues been observed already from people that have dropped these things, and yet in their ignorance, did not clean up the spill?

Thinking about getting a fwd car...?

But Im not sure if i can depend on it. I live in WV so i have had nothing but AWD or 4WD vehicles. I have a Subaru now. But i want to get a new car but there is just so much more to choose from when choosing fwd. Im not saying that i wouldnt be about to drive it in the winter im just worried about my driveway seeing is how its a sorta steep incline so it gets really bad in the winter. I have never driven a fwd car in the winter and dont know how the starting out traction is to pull out of my driveway. Why does my water stink?

I live in the country and I have a well. my water began to stink and i lost a lot of hot water so I checked out my water heater and determined that the lower element was bad and since the heater was at least ten years old I opted to get a new one. I bought a Whirlpool Gold water heater with dual anode rods, larger elements, and energy star. the heater was the most expensive 50 gallon that I saw there at 500 it has a 12 year warranty and I installed it myself. I figured that that would solve the problem but after two or three days my water began have a sulfuric smell again. I am wondering if it is my water softener it is a rented one from culligan and has been here since we got the house 9 years ago. we have had various issues with it and every time they come out spend 10 minutes charge 50 and say that it is fine. it is not consistent in putting out soft water, and uses 200-250 pounds of salt in a week to week and a half. I also have to clean a disgusting looking black sludge off of the side of the brine tank 2 or more times a year. what should I do?

Do all kids say that at one time or other? We have been having a rough time lately, especially since the birth of my daughter 9 months ago. He is a good big brother, and most of the time he's a really good, sweet boy. But he has been really acting out lately and testing me to my limits!! When he is angry, frustrated, overtired, excited, etc. he will often hit me, kick me, do everything that he knows is ....I put him in time outs, I take things away, I yell, occasionally I (save that for last resort). My husband always uses shouting as a first response and that probably isn't helping. But today, he was misbehaving and he thought it was really funny that I was getting angry and frustrated so I put him in his room and turned off the tv and he said "I hate you mom":( It really hurt my feelings, even though I know he doesn't even really know what that means and a few minutes later we were giving hugs and he told me he loves me. We talked about it and I told him that "hate" is not a nice word and he shouldn't say that to people that he loves (or anyone). Some things he learns from the neighbor kids who are all a couple years older than him. What do I do? I feel like I'm constantly yelling or giving him time outs or feeling frustrated. I try to be mellow, patient mom, but lately he is making that impossible and I end up feeling bad, like I'm doing something wrong. Do all parents feel this way?? I used to feel so close to him. How would you diagnose this foot problem?

Sorry, I know this is a rather odd and, to some, disgusting question, but its been a bit of a concern of mine. Recently I've been having ungodly odors coming from my feet after taking off my shoes, and I'll shower and thoroughly clean them, only to have them smell again shortly thereafter. I recently completely washed my shoes and have been washing my feet multiple times per day, with no effects. I think it may be a result of having worn shoes for about 50 hours straight a couple of weeks ago, during which time I flew from Chicago to Minneapolis, before flying to Amsterdam, having a 10 hours layover where I toured the city (not removing my shoes, obviously), then flew straight from there to Tokyo. Does anyone know if this could be a cause, and, if so, what the solution could be? Other symptoms have included a bit of a burning feeling in my feet occasionally when I'm walking long distances and thus my feet are sweating a bit. Also, I've had a head cold recently, which, while I absolutely can't imagine would have anything to do with it, has coincided time-wise with the foot smell

How do I fix my Nintendo DSi fuse?

I have I dsi that has a blown fuse (I think), and I searched the problem and everything I get is DS Lite fuse problems, why? Is the repair the same as the DS Lite (Soldering a wire through the fuse contacts etc) or is there another unique way? Please don't answer that I have to replace the fuse because I live in Ukraine and nobody knows whats Nintendo and for eBay Ukraine doesn't exist. Please answer!

Isn't it strange that ppl with flat feet and pple with high arches both need arch support?

From what research I've done this seems to be the case. I have odd-shaped feet, very skinny in the back near heel, and wider in front (near toes). It seems to me that this leaves me little surface area on which to support myself. I am thin not overweight. I allso have a high arch and they hurt and lately its difficult to walk. When I'm sittin/laying down my arches spasm. I fear I'm not walking correctly and could be causing myself bone/posture/other issues. My feet aren't flat but arch supports help. However, the kind from a general store are not supportive/(high?) enough for my feet. does anyone else have this problem?? I also fear fallen arches which I'm not really sure what they are. Help!

I work in a fairly busy car dealership. I'm usually working in two offices, and I'm currently being trained for another department, so I'm a little stressed at times. In the past month, four of our co-workers have had a cold or at least the symptoms, and I'm in direct contact with at least 2 of them. When I leave work at night, I feel kind of off (headaches, lethargic, throat/ears not 100%), but once I get home and actually rest, I'm fine for work the next day. I admittedly have not been taking proper care of myself, but I'm working on that. Is it possible to feel sick in certain places simply because there are so many viruses?

people on this site can give the most amazing advice - thank you --well it is official i went to work yesterday and they called me up to the head office along with my supervisor and the operations manager so they offered me the position in the hope that i could do two things manage the other employees and help bring down infections in the Operating Rooms we have over 56 OR's so my hands will be full. i took the position knowing full well the infection control will be next to impossible, i will make sure when we are intubate the patients on the or we use sterile cannulas and when we draw the blood it is all sterile- but taking into account that we have the nurses in the OR and the different doctors and PSA's it will be difficult to bring down infections, and yes i know i only have to Manage and be responsible for what my people do.... on a lighter note they gave me yesterday off and on monday i will be on days for awhile getting the rest of my liver transplant training and my cardiac training so and after that i will take over as b shift supervisor so i'll be on days for the next two to three months... so what do you think of that?
